England will travel to Sri Lanka for a seven-match bilateral ODI series, in November and December. The matches will be played at the three main ODI venues in the country, in Pallekele, Hambantota and Colombo, with four of the games set to be day-nighters.

The series will be played from November 26 to December 16, and the track record for cricket at that time of year suggests at least some matches may be hampered by the tail end of the north-east monsoon. The boards have sought to counter this by making provisions for a reserve day for five of the seven games.
